Help educate 30 children of the adivasi community (indigenous inhabitants of India) by supporting Schools for India Trust and Vidyodaya Adivasi Schools in Guldalur, India.
“Indigenous Peoples have the right to establish and control their educational systems and institutions providing education in their own languages, in a manner appropriate to their cultural methods of teaching and learning.”
– Article 14, the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples
You can support this project by contributing any amount you can to help sponsor the education of these children. The cost to educate a child for a year is INR 36,000 (~ $500) – which covers the teachers salary, transport cost for bringing these children from remote locations to the school, and upgrading the school infrastructure.
By May 2022, so we can help fund the next academic year
